Community tour

This tour takes you through a journey of sustainable life in remote Uganda ,showing life style and culture of bakiga people. One of the community guides will lead you through the Nkuringo community, visiting the site of brewing master for a taste of local moonshine, traditional home steads to see how women really do control everything in their families, a fastening blacksmith to see the arts of making the local tools that they use in their everyday life such as machetes shoes, and many other fascinating utensils, visiting the local schools which gives you their humble respect for education, possibly being fortunate to hear the rehearsals of the neighbouring church choirs, visiting the community projects that we have initiated with pig farming, school vegetable gardens and poultry rearing and the take a walk to some of the scenic views in Africa which provides exciting photo opportunities not only of land scape but also the warm smiles of the bakiga people.
